Head Start serves children between the ages of 3 and 4.
Must come from a family with an income level according to the poverty guidelines or the parents receive government assistance.

Public Pre K Programs Include:
Early Head Start
For Ages birth to 5 years old. Families must meet poverty guidelines. Children from families receiving public assistance such as TANF, SSI are automatically eligible.

Early Head Start programs provide different needs dependent on the area where they are located. Most are based in centers and schools. Programs also can be home-based.

Head Start Programs
Head Start is provided by the US Department of Health and Human Services. Enrollment ages is between 3 and 4 years old. If child is 3 years old prior to Sept 1, they are eligible to apply.

Families must meet poverty guidelines. Children from families receiving public assistance such as TANF, SSI are automatically eligible.

VPK Programs
