Serving 51 children and families. Head Start is for families with children 3 - 5 years of age.
Children receive the opportunity to learn, experience success and gain self-confidence.
Children are provided with activities which help them grow mentally, socially, emotionally and physically and prepare them for public school.
Families are offered support services and the opportunity to be involved in all activities.
Head Start recognizes parents as the first and most important teachers of their children, and welcomes parents as equal partners.
Most children enrolled will attend a center-based Pre-school which operates four days a week, 3 1/2 hours a day in class.
Parents are encouraged to be involved in all aspects of the program.
